2021 COVID-19 Business Grant
The NSW Government will be offering financial support to businesses impacted by the recent COVID-19 restrictions and stay-at-home orders.
If your NSW based business or not-for-profit organisation has been impacted by the restrictions, you may be eligible to apply from 19 July 2021.
The grant can be used for business expenses such as rent, utilities and wages, for which no other government support is available.
Three different grant amounts will be available depending on the decline in turnover experienced during the restrictions:
- $7,500 for a decline of 30% or more
- $10,500 for a decline of 50% or more
- $15,000 for a decline of 70% or more.
Eligibility criteria:
- Have fewer than 20 full time equivalent employees (including non-employing businesses)
- Have an ABN registered in NSW or can demonstrate they are physically located and primarily operating in NSW. Only one grant is available for a single ABN
- Have total Australian annual wages below the 2020-2021 NSW payroll tax threshold of $1,200,000 as at 1 July 2020
- Have not applied for, or received, the Hospitality and Tourism COVID-19 Support Grant
- Have an annual turnover of more than $75,000 as at 1 June 2021, and
- Have business costs for which there is no other government support available.
